Can't play some notes with flute?

I've noticed I can't play the bottom left or bottom right notes with the flute. Help???

Maybe an issue with your controller? Does it work if you use your keyboard and press left+down or right+down?

For controller, once you are in flute mode, you can swing the controller around to hold in in various directions, then hit the button once you are sure it's pointing in the correct direction. (I assume it's similar for keyboard.)

So, you can choose directions slowly.

If your controller won't go to bottom left/right, you might run the controller configuration program and see if it's registering them with the controller at all?

I'm playing on keyboard. I can point it in those directions, but pressing the button doesn't play a note like it does for the others.

Due to how the hardware for them is implemented, some keyboards aren't capable of recognizing certain combinations of keys all pressed at the same time. Use this web site to test if your keyboard can recognize all of them at once: https://www.mechanical-keyboard.org/key-rollover-test/

If you have a gaming keyboard, check its manual to see if you can enable N-key Rollover. A non-gaming keyboard probably doesn't support that, though.

Otherwise, if you have a numpad, you could try using the arrows on the numpad for movement; or you could try re-binding the action button to a different key.

Yeah, that was it, never heard of this. WASD didn't work, but arrow keys did
