Maybe go to these statues in order (1 dot, 2 dots, etc.) and play the corresponding note? Right for one dot, bottom right for two dots, etc. That's all I've got. I honestly haven't even been paying attention to them, but I'll be on the lookout now.
There are two heart columns, one with one dot and the other with two. The skull column has one dot, same as the diamond column.
Is this the solution or are you just suggesting connecting them somehow? If so, how? On the map?
I just hope I'm not the only one working on this
I came here looking for these meta puzzles Jason referenced in his Bloomberg piece, and this is it!
I'm gonna be looking tonight for these, and seeing if the arrows on the wall of the little glass room in the big zig zag ghost mouse room have any significance
Edit: Found chest 3 😂 It's right before the first encounter with the seahorse boss. This puts all five chest columns next to each other. Linking them together on the map looks like... a G or a 6. I'm not sure how this matters, though, seeing as drawing a line between the heart columns overlaps with one skull column and one 'dots' (second to last symbol) column.
We have to collect 64 eggs for the peacock. Interestingly, we can also place a total of 64 markers on the map. And then, those columns all have symbols that match the ones we can stamp the map with.
