Nvidia Control Panel - Manage 3D Settings - Try setting 'Low Latency' to 'Ultra'.
This way all my stuttering was resolved.

Just note. There is no low latency mode setting on MSHybrid notebooks/PCs with SLI configuration.

PSA: Nvidia Ultra Low Latency to eliminate stuttering in big cities (experience may differ)

So in the big cities like Athens, it's pretty common knowledge that the game has very hard stutters even on good hardware. The game will be running fine but as soon as you turn the camera or enter a new area, you get a very large FPS dip before shooting back up to a good framerate. Apparently this didn't use to be the case at launch and supposedly a windows update/nvidia driver update has butchered this game's performance. I tried DXVK and SpecialK, neither helped much at all.

What did was setting Low Latency Mode in the nvidia control panel to "Ultra". It completely fixes the stutters. I've always messed around with that setting and it has either made no difference or it has made things worse. Not a guarantee it will work on your end, but on my setup it has worked a treat!

So, just putting it out there to give it a shot, you should be able to see it working even in the benchmark.

I'm not sure if there is an AMD equivalent, if there is by all means try it. Hopefully it works for you as well.

This actually worked for me, thank you so much! The last driver that actually worked for me was 472.12. I'm now able to play on the latest driver with this work around.

There seems to be a bug with AC Odyssey handling the 'fps buffer'.
