Do you get anymore than 200 Helix Credits?

Is there ever any more quests that gift you Helix Credits other than the original 200 in the first part of the game? Or do you have to buy them if you want anymore?

BTW if they wanted to hook you to buy more Helix credits this "gift" of 200 is just ridiculous. They could have at least gives a number of Helix you can actually buy something from :)

BTw : anything you can buy with Helix can be bought in game with game currency to the special merchant or found in the jar he sells (beside anything to do with XP boost or unlocking map markers etc... )

It is all designed to get people with addictive and OCD personality disorders to spend money.

All the store items are just cosmetic and are not actually any better than items you can get in the game for free.

well, as you know 200 is 1300 less then you need. :)

this is a cleve rform of advertising, they give you a bit and you need to buy the rest, and quite
a few ppl will do that.
soem gamers seem to be in such a hurry to finish every game in the shortest amount of time.
i am still on origins after 140 hours of play.
after that i will get this one. no hurry, let it have a few patches first.

indeed, although i personally would spend money on skin packs depending on the look, 500 credits seems not overpriced for me for the ship cosmetic packs. But of course you do not need them at all. :)

Actually i found out that you theoretically can buy something with that 200 helix credits, unlike it was in origins in odyssey you keep helix store items you got from the special ingame trader permanentaly and forever and for every character you ever make, because it gets bound to your account.

And if that helix store item was part of a pack like the athenian ship pack for example then the price of that pack in the helix store gets reduced because you already own a item of that pack.

I didn't even get that 200. I was playing offline when it triggered, so it didn't give me credit

In Origins, I was given more Helix credits with the release of the season pass content, so maybe they'll do the same here?

Considering the game was free for me (AMD) I didnt mind buying some helix to get the maps from the store. I still have 1400ish helix credits available so I'll just see what sort of stuff Ubi releases on the store.
