Athenian marksmen

Anyone know a reliable place where i can find Athenian marksmen? Got a weekly contract to hunt 15 of them down and in 3 hours ive only found 1

I know what they look like, archers with a hood instead of a helmet - but just cant find any.

Some camps captains are marksman. When an Athenian or Spartan place is weakened go to the Athenian camp where you start the war and there's usually a marksman there.

The main area fort usually has 1 and if you explore the road sometimes there's a marksman on a horse heading to or away from the fort. I killed all mine already, you get a nice 40 Orichalcum

The Athenian ready-for-a-battle camp tip sounds like it might be the answer im looking for.

For me, the only reliable way to farm this joke of a marksman is the Athenian "ready for a battle camp". Sad!

I noticed that later after the merc one which also gave me 40 orichcalcum.

I'm officially giving up.
After around 8 hours I've found 3. Never find any in the forts, find 1 per "ready for a war camp" who never respawns.
This weeks bounty is a nonsense.

It's hard, but they do give you a week, you can literally get the 30 archers in an hour easily. Marksmen not so much, but they wear hoods. So look for guys with hoods, Road soldiers that say "Get out of the way" are usually marksmen (scouts) or have one with them. As well as 1 or 2 being at battle camps before a conquest battle.

Spartacus's answer above was helpful - he mentioned the battle camps as well. I found one per battle camp, would kill one, then leave and come back later. The Marksman NEVER respawned.
Just did a lap of the athens city wall, I found one marksman. One.
I've visited 4 forts and haven't found a single marksman.
I tried Athenian ships - took out 3 and didn't find a single marksman on board.

Their spawn rate is absolute b*llocks. This weeks bounty does not, in any way, respect my time.

If you use fast travel, it should respawn marksman at the battlecamps, there is this island called Keos with two fast travel points, the fast travel point in the middle of the island have a battlecamp down the mountain the north west, just did the remaining 5 out of 15 marksman by repeatly fast travel between Phokis and this island.
