What is Testing Branch and how do I join?

Testing Branch is the place where we test new stuff before it gets released. If you want to help us test, or just check out some of the new features and fixes, you can do so by switching to the "beta" branch in the Steam client.

To join the Testing Branch:

Back up your saved games

If you have ongoing games, especially long campaign games you care about, go to main screen and click on "Open Saved Games Folder". From there, make backups of any campaigns or standalone scenarios you want.

Switch to "beta" branch on Steam

To make the switch just go to your Steam Library, right-click the game and select 'Properties'. Click on the 'BETAS' tab and from the drop-down menu select 'beta - Branch with untested beta features'.

(To switch back, just follow the same procedure and choose 'None - opt out of all beta programs').
