Mac version
Please please please port this over to the Mac as you did with UoC1

Any chance of retrofitting some of the Eastern Front scenarios onto the new engine?

Hi Leopold,

we will be porting to mac, subject to availability of our mac developer. We are pushing to have it done sooner, but it's not in house so I can't make promises.

Eastern front will appear in DLC for sure, but the new game is an entirely new game system and all scenarios will have to be redone pretty much from scratch.

Cheers!

Also eagerly waiting for the Mac version, as many of my friends.

any progress on the mac version? also would you consider an iOS version (even if it were the 'simpler' version 1?

Just revisiting Unity of Command on my Mac and really enjoying it. UoC II for Mac would be much appreciated!

We haven't forgotten about Mac, but I don't have real news yet sorry.

As noted before, this is out of our hands. I will keep pushing and asking.

Cheers!

Thank you guys for at least putting it in a todo list. It's refreshing when I travel for work with my macbook and fire up UoC1 on the plane and in the hotel, really want to play the second one when all I have is my Mac. Of course, I have the game on my PC, but it would just be nice to have and to continue saved games (hopefully steam saves) from another computer.

Will a future Mac release be accessible on the same license as current windows?
I assume so, but just checking so I don't end up needing to buy a separate license.

+1 for mac as well, but I have to say Apple is making terrible decisions, and I understand if developers throw up their hands and say "enough is enough". The decision to make all 32-bit games unplayable under Catalina is Apple saying "we don't care about gaming or small software developers at all."

Bootcamp is working well for me, it's how I play UoC2 currently. Looking at getting Crossover to simplify matters even more.

Can you make game available in GeForce NOW? AFAK many Paradox games available in GeForce NOW, such as HoI4. I understand this is a lot of legal work but it at least looks faster than porting game to macOs.

The Paradox Grand Strategy games (like HoI4, but also EU4, CK2, Stellaris, Imperator, ...) are available natively on macOS, so no need for GeForce Now on mac for them.
I'm confident they will release for Mac. They answered again this month saying so, the previous opus was on mac, so we just have to be patient, as always as mac gamers :)
