Thinking about buying but I wanna just wanna know, where's the rest of the content?
The devs haven't made a post since a week after the game launched talking about planned content drops in seasons. So... wtf happened? Is the content just dropping? Is there some site the devs are keeping exclusive to? There's no way the devs just abandoned the game without saying anything right? A full month of radio silence is just kinda insane. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

EG7 (who owns Toadman, the developer of this game) is in the process of mass lay-offs and Toadman has been one of the companies hit hardest. Three of their studios have closed completely while a fourth has also been affected:

EG7 claimed in their Q2 2024 financial report that approximately 100 staff from Toadman would be "impacted" (lose their jobs):

"Toadman’s Net Revenue came in at SEK 11.6 (10.8) million, representing 7.5 percent organic growth year-over-year, Adjusted EBITDA came in at SEK -8.7 (-3.2) million for the period. With the market slowdown and recalibration that the industry has seen over the past quarters Toadman has struggled to ramp up its WFH business. As a result, management have decided to undertake further business optimization efforts to bring Toadman to immediate profitability. The total annual cost savings for Toadman is approximately SEK 63 million and will impact approximately 100 headcounts previously engage with Toadman. On the product side Toadman released EvilVEvil on July 16, and received a lackluster reception and sales figures came in at the lower end of expectations."

They specifically cited Evil V Evil as one the disappointments in relation to the lay-offs, so don't be surprised if this game suddenly goes quiet.

If can get the attention of a dev for a moment, then I'll ask a few questions I have before purchasing the game.
1. what kind of progression systems are in place in the game, if any.
2. what kind of classes/powers do the players have access to.
3. how many currencies are in the game that obfuscate the economy and the money players put in the game?
4. what kind of character customisation options are available.

Oof, Evil v Evil has been one of the disappointments for me also, but still sorry to hear about the layoffs. We'll now probably never get Immortal 2: Even more Unchained than before, which is a shame. Despite all the jank and issues it was still a fun shooter soulslike.
