What is the real steering angle in GT3 cars?
What is the real steering angle in GT3 cars? I tried playing with 360 and with 540, and I can't find the real ratio. In different videos on YouTube, I see that players turn the steering wheel at a maximum of 360, but on the Internet I read a lot of information that the steering wheel in a real car is 540 and even more.

Thank you very match
In ACC, soft lock is automatic. It means that your steering rotation is already 1:1 to what is displayed by ACC. So you don’t need to change the steering angle to match the car you drive. For instance : you are using a 1080 wheel. Let it in 1080 and when you drive a Ferrari, soft lock will limit you steering angle at 480. PS : next time, browse the net (ACC forum or racedepartment). It explains all you need to know to setup ACC !
Soft Lock does not work completely. My steering wheel rotates, even though it has already stopped in the car. I use 1080 degrees on my csl elite.
From this guide it does say that the PC version has automatic soft lock, console versions do not have this.

"*It must be noted for PC players in ACC that this setting will auto adjust giving your wheel a soft lock at the correct wheel rotation for the steering lock of each car. However, for console players or those who wish to set these themselves if you’re often only using one car you can find the correct steering lock values below."

I play on PC and that not work. My wheelbase Thrustmaster T300, I set the degree to 540 and the steering wheel in the game is not synchronized with my steering wheel-I turn the steering wheel and in the game the steering wheel already reaches the end of the turn. And if I put 360 degrees in the settings, then the steering wheel seems to sync with the game one. And in the game settings there are no options for setting up soft lock

This is a real turn off for me since I want to buy a wheel. Is this really what I'm going to have to deal with when I get a wheel, having to change the steering angle for every car?
no, you set the wheel angle and let the game do the rest
Find the config file in D/Steam/ACC -> enable soft lock -> insert « 1 » instead of the « 0 ».

Obviously No ! I don’t even know why they are preoccupied by that. It’s configured flawlessly by default. You don’t even need to change Fbb in my opinion. Just tick the option to enable the control of your wheel by the game in your TM/Fanatec/Logitech driver. That’s it !

Btw, that s why it s called « soft » lock :D I hope one day they implement a « hard » lock (if it’s possible) !

Soft-lock just means it's a lock controlled by "software".
I'm planning on buying a Logitech G923 wheel. If I wanted it hard-locked for a specific car, would I set the corresponding degrees for the specific car in both the logitech Ghub software and the in-game options the the same degree? I don't want the wheel turning more than it has to.

Keep 1080 to both (the game and software). The lock will strengthen your wheel like it’s locked. For most of the wheels, you can still turn it (but with more force than usual). Don’t bother with steering angle really !
