GTX 1070 VR Settings request
Hi guys!

I'm really impatient. I can't wait for Competizione to get better in terms of perfomance in VR. I can't race anymore without VR so I'm begging right now for GTX1070 i5 4GHz settings :D
Has anyone managed to get it to playable state with similar hardware?

Cheers!

View distance high
Resolution scale - 100%
Antia Aliasing - Temporal
Everything mid except Texture which is epic
VR Density - 130
Personal choice but I set saturation to 80 to give it a more realistic colouring, I thing the oversaturation of colour is a part of why it normally looks so crap.

I got it like that - even lower and it's unplayable.. Jutters like half time...

I wouldnt even contemplate playing it in VR at the moment.

With 1080gtx VR pixel density 130% is max with epic quality on everything else, so I wouldn't touch that with 1070. If you wan't use steams SS instead that can be done in smaller increments.

Interesting. It's perfectly fine for me on 2700X/1070 with 130% everything medium. Are you using a Vive? It's very smooth in my Rift.

i have a gtx1070 and i7 8700 supersampling 150 settings medium and runs at 45 fps
no performance issues except that 45 fps is the max you can get..other sims run at 90 fps ex iracing or rf2...but acc is worse in vr..ue4 engine is crap for vr,and acc is just suppoorted but not a game to play in vr,is not and will not be optimized for Vr,, acc is to be played in 4k rx2070,,

I'm not sure how you come to the conclusion UE4 is crap for VR games?
Robo Recall looks and runs great and the upcoming Ace Combat 7 looks fantastic on a lowly PS4.Both use UE4
Other than ACC,which VR games using UE4 run like crap?

I do however agree that ACC merely 'supports' VR and fear it will never run particularly well in VR.
I hope i'm wrong

I have everything on EPIC and on 130% and it kicks in with async reprojection from time to time.

Don't talk to him seriously can't you see that he doesn't even know the difference with asynchronous and interleaved reprojecting / warp. 45fps is interleved as it cuts the frames in to half when the FPS is not met. Asynchoronous recreates the frames needed keeping fps 90 but it looks different than interleaved. Yet he speaks as its UEngines fault it runs 45 and other 90. Cut the detail and or use the proper way to reproject the frames needed.

if you play with oculus.
open oculus debug tool and set ASW "force 45fps ASW disabled"
don't close debug tool and open ACC.
similar setup and i can play with average hight seting.
(sory for my bad english)

Any updates? How is latest version with 1070 give running? We're there any performance improvements?
Would it make sense buying 1080 or 1070 will work?
Candidate:I7-3770k 16gb ram + 1070/1080 + vive
