Anyone know how to download mods?

So i finally got this game to work and id like to add some more cars. I tried to download them and unzip into a car folder in asseto's folder but its not there

are you sure you are gonna modding to Assetto Corsa "competizione"? because I don't think there is mods on ACC.

All available content for ACC is downloaded on installation.

For clarity:
ACC does not currently have any DLC or mod supported
AC has loads of community mods and dlc

You need to understand that ACC is the offical Blancpain GT Series game. It's not a generalised racing game. You can only use cars in the GT Series (i.e. GT3 cars). I would of course love to see tracks from the Asia and US GT Cups as well, rather than just the European one... but maybe that's coming?
