Easily the best game in the Blackwell series so far. It's longer and feels more polished than all previous games. Joey's role is bigger and feels more equal to Rosa's now, and he's necessary for various puzzles. The puzzles generally feel very well designed and logical, definitely a huge step up from the earlier games. The graphics and music are, as usual, excellent, and the story is always interesting and well developed. It gives us a bit of a peek into Joey's past, which will hopefully be further explored in the fifth game. Overall, fantastic, I love it.

Deception is the fourth entry of the Blackwell series and so far the longest and best one.

It's good to see how the relationship between the protagonist Rosa and her partner Joey has developed so far over the last games and that Rosa really has grown as a person.

Gameplay wise I liked a lot that the developer expanded Joey's part in solving the riddles further so that he feels more useful and equal to Rosa overall.

I'm excited for the last part!
