Mod release with bug fixes, adding unused voicelines and more
Hi there,

So over the past few weeks I've been spending time browsing through the game files and editing them. As a result, I managed to enable a bunch of unused voicelines, fix some bugs the game had and add more variety to the world with previously unused or mission exclusive assets. There is more as well, but I'll try to summarize it a bit down below.

Basically there is a whole bunch of voice lines that didn't used to work which now do. These include:
- Rural males, which previously used a lot of farmer voice lines for some reason.
- PSI mutants can now be cortex scanned and PK'ed so you can hear those lines as well.
- The warlords now can be found across the various maps in free roam, so you can hear cortex scan them as well.
- The Rockwell mayor spawns in the open world, his generic thoughts could not be heard before.
- The crackpots now spawn in their original spots in free roam Santa Modesta, so you can hear all their voice lines as well now.
- The scientist at the start of 'Furon Down' used to have a conversation in the original game, but it was broken in the remake,, which has now been fixed.

Also includes various bug fixes besides the rural male include a lot of fixes to floating npcs found in the open world, a fix for the circus truck having bugged occupants and not opening its doors, a fix for capitol city using the wrong vehicle spawn pool, another fix for area 42 its traffic paths, where alert vehicles couldn't spawn on the road between the main base and the smaller base to the south as well as them spawning on walkways for some reason. There is a bunch more, documented on the mod page.

Alert levels have also been updated and now include the power suit soldiers as well as soldiers with rocket launchers, which previously didn't show up. There also is an optional file that changes the colors of the alert UI to represent those of the original game, instead of being all yellow.

Some mission exclusive or previously unused assets can now also be found on the various maps, besides the ones mentioned above.
This includes the army version of the majestic car, the bomb truck, the presidential motorcade car, an unused vendor npc and an unused female suburban in a bathrobe.

Added optional files allowing you to disable the time slowdown when using the ion detonator fully upgraded which I've read people didn't like and I honestly didn't either, another one so your holobob doesn't automatically decay and also one that changes projectiles shot by enemies to either fly a bit faster and/or do some more damage based on the original game if you are looking for a bit more of a challenge.

There is more changes, such as separate cops for the rural maps compared to the more urban maps, classic look for majestic vehicles, some retextures to a few of the military vehicles to have them make more sense, etc... full readme is included on the mod page and the download.

I separated some of the features as mentioned before, so you for example can choose to only use the bug fixes and nothing else. This game was a big part of my childhood and the remake was really solid so I hope I can further improve some people their experiences with this mod. Enjoy.

yeah i've been replaying the game with the mod. Only problem i have is that since bullet speed has been increased it makes missions like duck and cover or the towers mission much much harder and i know they weren't that difficult in the original. really would like to see it get more updates because while it changes a lot of things for the better i think it's far from finished for me to call it a "classic mod". please rework the quantum deconstructor ammo i hate it in the remake takes wayyy too long to get ammo for it.

Hello,
Could you add the option in your mod to fix the game subtitles getting out of the screen bug in 4k resolution that was never fixed in the remaster please?
I would be so grateful for it and Im sure others would too
