Game is performing terribly, can anyone help me?
I have a pretty good PC that can smoothly run almost any game but for some reason Destroy All Humans has TERRIBLE performance on it. Constant freezes, gamebreaking bugs and FPS drops. Lowering graphics doesn't do anything, and from what i have seen this isn't a common issue. How do I fix it?

I hate to sound too typical, but when was the last time you updated your GPU drivers? Not saying that’s why you’re having issues but it’s good to make sure everything is up to date, just in case.

a 'pretty good pc'? what does that even mean lol

what are your specs? post them here or email the devs or something.

my rig is nearly five years old and it runs smooth as hell at 1920x1080... but then again i set everything to high, not ultra, and i ditched the anti-aliasing as it would cause some cutscenes to occasionally lag for a split-sec (enough to notice and grumble lol).

i'm running this on an i5-6600k, 1060gtx 3gb, 8gb RAM, with up to date drivers and windows etc

Processor : Intel Core i5-7400 3.0ghz
Graphics card : Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060
RAM : 16GB (2x8GB)
System : Windows 10 64-bit
1TB HD + 120GB SSD

Is your PC defaulting to the correct graphics card? I had a game recently that defaulted to the integrated graphics rather than the dedicated GPU, which had results similar to what you describe. I had to manually switch to the dedicated GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Kind of low for this game. It might be your CPU.

agreed. the i5-7400 came out back in early '17, so it's gettin' on a bit now.
(i have an i5-6600k, so i feel your pain! :D)

I'm running this game on an i7920 at stock speeds - a processor that is at least 11 years old now - I doubt it's your CPU.
This game puts a lot more emphasis on the GPU. But, I'm also using a 1060 6G and that handles it well enough.

I did notice improvements when switching to Fullscreen mode and enabling v-sync with a 60 fps frame limit (running the monitor at 60 hz as well).
Before I did that things were a bit hitchy.

i5-7400 is a 4 core 4 thread CPU. i7 920 is a 4 core 8 thread CPU. Surely even being very old, those extra 4 thread helps to keep up with the GPU.

Ah, good point. I hadn't thought of that.

Despite this, the 7400 is much more powerful for gaming and all in general lol.

Even a much newer and better cpu here have more issues getting a decent framerate than my weaker PC haha

Maybe try lowering shadows and post processing effects, that helps in many games and also cap your fps to your monitors refresh rate. Im actually waiting for a steam sale to buy this one c: i missed the last one :/

Looks like it has a massive issue with one map mostly.

Game is on massive sale on Gamersgate and also has ITAD22 as coupon code.

Probably the best deal you can have atm on a whitelisted site.

Did you get the game running smooth?
