Is there a nack to this I'm missing? Tried three times now, and she seems impervious to everything.

And there is nothing I can do to counter any of her one-hit kills!

A fully powered Desintegrator Ray should do good damage, whenever you get through one of her health bars she jumps to the side of the battlefield to recharge herself on one of those devices, take those out to interrupt the process. When the robot uses the area of effect beam take cover in safe zones behind debris around the battlefield, best of success!

Every time I tried to kill her, I get her down to the last life (Lighting bolt) and I have her health down to the last few shots, I die. This happened three times. Then you have to start all over which really sucks. At least start us at the last lighting bolt, f@#$.

It took quite awhile but, I chased her around with the Zap-o-matic, took cover in the "shielded" areas when the area-of -effect attacks came down and saved my Dis-integrator Ray ammo for destroying the recharge stations she uses to regain health and the robo-mechs when they appeared. All in all, it takes about 15 minute - which can be kind of long for a boss battle in a game of this type.

Overall, I'd say the Zap-o-matic should be the primary weapon for this fight with the heavy guns used against the recharge stations, robots, and auto-machine guns near the recharge stations.

Honestly I only died a couple times. Though not to brag, I'm generally very good at shooters in general. I can see it being nigh impossible for the average player.

1: They can do what they want.

2: You're perfectly capable of getting good at the game.

3: They don't need to implement an easy mode if they don't want to.

Sure they have the freedom of design/art to make what they want

the customer have the freedom not to buy their games too.

Unhappy customer equals commercial suicide.

What's your motivation to make probably the majority of em upset

In my opinion DAH is a classical 10 hours casual game.
You enjoy a few lighthearted evenings with ridiculous aliens. That's it.

Do i want spend more time with xp grind or fighting a boring 20 minutes end boss ?
Hell no.

How many players will cherish great memories of Silhouette?
How many players will say: "Wow that was fun. Let's kill Silhouette again"?

I won't lie, there definitely is a very strange difficulty spike with Silhouette. Still though, there's absolutely nothing wrong with making a niche product (which DAH definitely is) and not everyone likes everything. There is always that choice to not play a game. That being said, it would be impossible to get a refund at that point in the game; if not just very unlikely.
