Error
Hi all,

I've got a question. I bought this game today, but it won't start. When I hit the play button on steam it just brings up a black screen, with an error message behind it. It says there is an unhandled windows exception, code 0xc0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) @ 0x6ded92e3. Then it points to 'OgreMain.dll' a bunch of times, which is a file in the fate of the world folder. Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Have you tried to do a steam game file integrity check?

Thanks for the response. I just ran a file integrity check, but that didn't fix the issue.

Solved, configured it in the right way. If anyone is interested I can write down what I did exactly.

Just chiming in to say that I too had this error, and fixed it by asking Steam to verify the integrity of the game's files.
