Cant change controls?

When i try to change controls, all it says is "Joystick1Button9" after i press any key, and its stuck like this. It cant be changed. Would be great to fix so i can play this game, also gas/break on my controller is still not fixed even after calibrating controllers..

You ain't the only one with this issue, i have the same problem but even worse, the game doesn't even allow me to change any of the default buttons at all. i changed my controller settings on Steam settings, my controller is recognised by Steam, but whenever i go back to this game, its always the same , i try re mapping the default preset buttons to no avail. I hope they patch this game soon, all i wanna do is just play the dam game.

Just use joytokey or xpadder and your good to go.
That's what i've been doing without any problems.
A patch will probably never happen because the dev apparently abandoned the game.
