Problem with farming VP?

Hello everyone, yesterday i was playing woth some friends and I realized something.
I was playing one of those blue cards that let you do 1 of 2 actions. Put a bacteria on this card or discard 3 bacteria to win 1VP.

I was taking note that every time I did the second action (wich I did frequently) my VP field didn´t go up. It was always the same level. Even if I checked manually which VP I´ve got so far, all of them (which were only 3) were because of previous cards I´ve used in the game.

I waited until the end of the game and realized those points I made were nowhere to be found. I´ve got the screenshot and says on my sum only 3VP were made by me. So exactly were does this VP go then?

Hope you can help me, it´s the second time his happens while playing on digital.

If that is the card I am thinking of, you don't discard 3 bacteria to win 1 VP, you discard 3 bacteria to get 1 TR ("Terraform Rating"). This is the number next to your player color/corporation on the left side of the screen.

1 TR is equal to 1 VP at the end of the game, but is counted as your "base" value to which all other VPs are added.

You´re probably right. I know the difference between TR and VP but I was positive it said VP. Maybe I just read wrong, because I´ve searched the original physical card and says gain 1TR not VP. Thanks alot mate.

I suspect RJJameson has it right.

Nitrite Reducing Bacteria is the only thing close to what is described and references only TR, not VP in text and icons.
It is quite possible that the digital game got it wrong.

There are no cards where you discard tokens to gain VP because in the physical version there would be no way to track it, as VP is not tracked during the game at all, only TR. All cards either let you discard tokens to gain TR or raise a terraforming parameter or require you to keep the tokens on them so that you can count the VP on the card at the end of the game.
