That t-rex

I cannot beat the t-rex, it might just be because I'm using a key board but its impossible to beat right now

You must shoot to the bar underneath the fill fida, then you will get angry and move up on you. When you are close, divert, will be in slow motion, when the crosshairs turn red shoot. To the beat with some blocks.

Yeah, the Adrenaline Dodge isn't really easy... But it's possible!

1) Shoot at him until he gets enraged (once his rage bar is full, he roars and charges towards Lara)

2) Stop shooting but keep the target locked!!!

3) Wait until the screen gets blurry. Keep moving (left or right) and press "Shift" (Crouch). Lara performs the Adrenaline Dodge.

4) Two reticles will appear on the T-Rex. Shoot when they overlap and turn red (I think there is also some kind of sound)

5) The T-Rex runs into the spikes. Repeat these steps!

You're more likely to get trampled a little if you mess up, but I personally found it easier, timing wise, to get the adrenaline dodge to trigger for me in this fight by walking (and dodging) backwards when it is enraged instead of left and right. I also remapped crouch from left shift to left control, but that's just my preference.

I am unable to beat that f*** t-rex on my Mac. Can't believe it was that hard to beat this beast when i played this game the last time 20 years ago ...

Look at your settings, whichever key is set to crouch use that, so Lara will do an Adrenaline Dodge. If you still can't do it just let me know I'll help you to beat it somehow.

no matter how often I try .. this b*** just won't dodge!
Rex still locked on target when the screen gets blurry but either she just crouches or jumps. Adrenaline dodge only ever worked one time.

this is a new level of stupid .... If you are having the same problem like me just keep the button for combat-mode/targeting pressed (right mouse by default)
... of course lara puts her guns automatically away when the targeted enemy gets angry ...

Yes, and you have to keep pressing the directional key so she can dodge to the given direction. The best tip I can give is to look at the grass while aiming at the raging t-rex. You'll start to see the grass getting raw and more brownish as you get in the direction of the spikes, so just stay on it and dodge when the t-rex comes.

The easy option is to look for some edge (some higher plateau in jump reach), jump on it and click 500 times till the beast is dead. This is how i did it...

T-Rex was buggt as all hell for me, he wouldnt turn around, kept getting stuck on things. Usually i wouldnt be complaining in a boss fight if the boss got stuck and I could just hit him till he dies, but the pistols do next to no damage to the T-Rex

I managed to beat the T-Rex even without using the Adrenaline Dodge trick, even if I wanted to.

Sadly the game engine is so buggy and clumsy, that each time the boss went near walls it got stuck there. All I had to do then was to simply shoot it down.

Love the game, but sometimes I can't help but wonder that did the dev debug this game properly, because I keep running into (minor) game breaking bugs every 5 minutes or so. =(

Well... 20 years ago you could just hide in the cave and pop handgun bullets in him till he expired.

Yeah it took 10 minutes and was a cheese way of doing it. But it worked for those of us not able to do it the 'proper' way.

That's what I tried to do, but all edges are out of reach or theres that "invisible barrier" infront of them so I can't get there. Same with rocks and plants I try ti hide behind.

Duude wtf, like srsly. You just have to shoot him with the default pistols until he rages, when he does you have be far away and keep your aim locked on him. When he's just about to hit you, roll and dodge with the "SHIFT" key ("B" on XBOX and "O" on PS) to the left or right and when the sights align, shoot. I've played this game over and over and on Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 and I've never had any glitches or issues on this part. I can't be that lucky to never encounter those issues. Just do this and you'll be fine. Or, if you really can't do this you could search for a trainer (cheat) on the web OR get a 100% savefile for the game and use the golden shotgun (in-game cheat) that insta kills him with one shot.
