Sun Dial in Manor isn't activating

I've spun the sun dial in the Croft Manor garden for several minutes. I know it's supposed to react at 11, 2, and 6. But nothing is happening. I've exited the game and restarted it multiple times. Still nothing. Advice?

Its not 6. Thats your issue.

6 or not, NOTHING is activating. NOTHING is reacting. The gate isn't even opening to the garden.

You need the right number.

Its 11, 2, 7. They give you the combination in one of the books you can read. And also the writing on the all says "11 to 7"

It still doesn't stop or activate anything. It automatically stops with an animation at 11 and 2. But even if I stop it myself on every number after that, nothing happens. I've gone in circles repetitively with nothing activating.
