Hero (HR), Elite (EL), Berserker (BS), and Special (SP).
HR - The well-balanced all around type that is able to perform respectably in almost all scenarios. HR types have strong defensive capabilities and are unflinching in the face of most enemy attacks. Their Battle Power rapidly increases if they perform coordinated attacks and they are able to make easy use of Super Attacks and Ultimate Unit Effects. This type is easy to use and is especially beginner-friendly.
EL - The type that specializes in Ki-based attacks. EL characters are known to control the development of the battle through their use of stunning enemies. When performing coordinated attacks, EL type characters are able to recover their Ki slightly so they can continue fighting for multiple rounds at a time without needing a break.
BS - The all-out offensive type that specializes in providing your team with extra raw power in order to deal extensive amounts of damage. When performing coordinated attacks, BS type characters are able to destroy their opponent’s Hero Energy and greatly hinder their strategy. However, they have weak defenses and run out of Ki very quickly.
SP - The type that provides certain bonuses and support effects to their team. Each team is limited to having one SP type. Most SP types have unusual abilities and are able to greatly influence the direction of the battle through unconventional means.
Ah, thank you for the clarification. I wasn't aware of the SP types, because they weren't listed on the wiki.
It should also be worth noting that according to the Fandom Wiki, the EL class is unlocked at level 8, while the BS class is unlocked at level 12.
According to the Japanese Demo for World Mission, there are four separate save slots.
Since I've pretty much gone Saiyan in XV1, XV2 and Fusions, I'm going for a design that very much caught my eye in terms of SDBH -- A Namekian Berserker. Sure, it'll be a bit of a grind, but I don't mind.
That's good to hear. In that case, i'll be making Android, Supreme Kai, Demon God, and probably a Namekian.
My main character in Xenoverse 1 was Didgeri, the albino Namekian (his name is a pun on Didgeridoo). My main character in Fusions was a Namekian named Limac (his name is a pun on Limacidae, a species of giant land slugs).
I'm tempted to play a Majin Berserker, just because they aren't a fat male. But I'm not too obsessed over it, that I'd waste a slot.

LIES, the Elite class Android and Demon God are both female. As well as the Berserker class Supreme Kai.

An Albino Namekian?! I thought we killed them all in the great war!
The only Namekian character I have is my XV2 character Atopos, which is a genus of carnivorous air-breathing land slugs, known for killing mollusks by drilling straight into their shells.
I'll probably be reviving the name in World Mission as well.
His backstory is that Trunks' wish pulled him forward into the future, so he avoided the genocide of his people.
I thought this through. ;)
And yeah, I'll probably be remaking Limac in World Mission, using one of my extra character slots.
Grinding to level 12, to unlock the Berserker class. :-)
