How do you QUIT the game? There's no way to exit!?!?
This is absurd. How is there no way to quit the game aside from task manager!?

Press z and then go to main menu from there, then select quit. It's annoying but that's how you close the game.

Pressing Z does nothing for me. (I'm using a controller but even if I press it on the keyboard nothing happens)

Perhaps you'll need to unplug the controller? I'm not sure as I didn't even realise this game had proper controller support. Z takes you to a menu selection where you can switch to story, deck selection, allies, main menu and the shop plus some more things. It only works when you are out of battle.

It's called Hero Switch. You should see what button/key to press at the bottom of the screen when you're in the city.

I just took a look for you by using my own controller and it's the start button to get into hero switch mode. Simply select title screen from there and then exit.

Do you have to be far enough in the story to unlock it? I only just started and don't have time to get past all the tutorials right now.

It's possible that you'd have to beat the tutorial part first.

I couldn't say for certain. If you don't have the option though then yeah that's most likely the issue. You do get the hero switch device after the tutorial after all.

After Seintseya takes you back to his base and you meet the girl there, there is a robot offering five or six more tutorial missions.
Once those tutorials are completed you'll now be able to press the Start button (Hero Switch) which wasn't operational before.
Hero Switch brings up a menu for all of the games modes including Title Screen and Title Screen has a proper Exit Game option.

Bro this thread iis literally 7 months old. And fwiw, you actually CAN'T exit the game until you get to a certain point. Before then, the game doesn't let you.

Regardless, nice job bumping a thread almost a year old. That's quite something, huh?
