The game won't launch/work

I've owned WotWW for a while and I wanted to finally finish my playthrough I've been putting off for a while but found that I can't launch the game.

Or not really can't launch the game, more so it launches and then perpetually loads in a tiny window that I can't maximize or minimize, only choose to wait for the program to respond (which it never does) or close the window.

I've tried allocating more ram, though I don't know if I did that correctly, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I restarted my pc, nothing has worked. I ran a check to verify the integrity of the game files after reinstalling, steam said they were fine. It's been a while since I last played so I can't exactly say when it stopped working.

If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, some tips would be appreciated :-)

A known issue that can cause problems is running with Auto-HDR enabled or HDR enabled.

Same here! I bought the game for Easter and wit won't launch

I saw this same issue....Maybe this will help? My antivirus (Comodo) was automatically blocking the application. I had to update the antivirus certificates and specifically unblock the game. I also saw that when I connect my computer to multiple displays (such as the 42" TV I use as my "monitor"), the game does not recognize the resolution of one of them. Adjusting the resolution settings allowed it to load. Hope this helps!

I'm having the same issue here. Tried everything so far haven't work. Reinstalling the game/steam client. Changing auto HDR and resolution setting. Launching in compatibility etc. Help!

Hey guys, Dunno if your issue is that the game opens in a huge window (Mine went across both monitors) and the program becomes unresponsive or not, but these are the steps I used to fix my issue.

1. Go to /Users/YOURNAME/AppData/Local/Bandai Namco Entertainment/ Ni no Kuni
2. Open up UserSettings.ini with Notepad
3. Under Graphics Set ScreenWidth to 1920 and ScreenHeight to 1080 (My settings was 117k in width 7k height for some reason)
4. Set WindowedScreenWidth to 1920 and WindowedScreenHeight to 1080
5. File>Save
6. Close notepad
7. Launch Ni no Kuni and go into options to reset whatever settings you prefer

As a side note, You might have to reduce FrameRateCap and play around with Fullscreenmode = 1 and DIsplaymode = 1, if it's still being weird with you.
