To be honest they can be easily overlooked as the option from the main menu do not have these settings where you would expect them to be. But instead you have to go into a game first before you get those sound options.

And then again you have those options very limited, would have expected at least a bit more work for a remaster so most options would be available on both option menus.

EDIT also I forgot to mention the volume options ingame do not work for the title screen so protect your ears when loading the game until you are in a save.

Oh yes, found that out the hard way. RIP ears. Just like every Idea Factory/Compile Heart game ever made.
