how to unlock target? Mouse and Keyboard

I'm actually at the volcano boss, but the problem is that after i start attack him i really cant unlock my crosshair off it. I really want because i'm missing every damn gold orb (the one for the super attack) and i've literally tried every damn button on my keyboard. On this boss the lantern guy says that the tail is the boss weak point but i cant really lock on it. Any help please?

Tab seems to be the button you are looking for though I may be wrong.

Also in that boss fight the familiars will always try run to the front of him instead of staying at the tail (You can't lock onto the tail so you just have to try to get behind him). It's a real pain as you are constantly trying to fight what the game wants them to do but is just a result of poor AI. This is the only boss where it is a major issue though.

nope my friend. Tab it's not the one! Weird that looking online i saw many posts about the R1 button for unlocking target and R2 for target changing.

Unsure then sorry. Tbh I would just recommend using a controller if possible as you will probably have an easier time.

I play on controller, but I just checked for you. The default is E. With this key you can reassign the current traget to a different one. If you've changed the settings, then I can't help you, but you should see the key needed to be pressed at the top right corner, where the targets are listed as small icons.
