Co-Op Bug After Latest Patch!

Currently having an bug / issue with multiplayer mode after the latest patch (March 15th). I play with a friend all the time, and we just encountered a new bug where, loading into his game while he is in New Sirocco, causes my game to freeze on the loading screen while connecting. I can connect to his game while he is out in Caldera, but encounter the bug when we try to go back to town.

Does anyone have a fix or any ideas how to remedy this?

I can confirm this issue. My friend is unable to connect to me while I am in New Sirocco. We are currently testing to see if it's only certain characters.

Luc, do you only experience this bug while attempting to load in and out of New Sirocco or is it messing up in other locations too?

My friend and I bounced over to Harmattan and it worked fine. So we're going to do other things until they fix that bug in Sirocco. Hopefully the other zones work for you too.

Figure out anything? We tried with a few other characters too, but it just seems to be an issue with New Sirocco. Noticed it stops at 'Loading Items...' and never progresses beyond that.

Yes it works in other Zones, its a Sirocco thing. Hope they fix that soon. I repoted the bug allready .

Same issue, stuck on Loading Items. Only in that map and with any character.

Great, me and partner just bought the game only to be hit by this. Game has been a buggy ride all the way, and it just isn't funny to be encountering this kinda stuff all the time.

I can confirm this is happening to my and my friend's co-op game in New Sirocco, although this was happening to us last week before the patch. We were able to load into the game together, then we started the construction progress on several buildings. Next session I was not able to join him, and got stuck infinitely on the "Loading items page."

He ran outside to the general map and I still couldn't join. He had to manually run to Monsoon, and I still couldn't join. He then loaded a new split screen character, stopped the split screen, and then opened the game again and then I was able to join. We ran all the way back to New Sirocco and then it got stuck on the loading items screen. This is about 60+ hours into our game.

We spent about 3 hours troubleshooting various things. (He was able to join and load into my game, I created a new character and still couldn't load into his, he removed a bunch of items from New Sirocco and I still couldn't load, ect).

Very frustrating.

Check out if it's working -- Steam downloaded something for Outward (not announced as a patch), and Caldera seems to be working now for my friend and I.
