Stuck in Royal Manticore Lair

I was thrust into RML well ahead of schedule due to a death scenario. Under normal circumstances not a bother, I'd just leg it. But while I'm around the exit and the area with the normal Manticore, I can't interact with anything. Including the exit itself. And seeing as death just yeets me back deeper into the dungeon, I am literally stuck here with no way to leave. I've already put about 15 hours into this playthrough, and it's looking like I'm unable to progress at all.

According to the fandom page for RML there are 3 death scenarios that result in being taken out of dungeon. 2 take you to berg and then there is also the Gep kidnapping scenario
