No Sound? [Fixed]

I don't know if I'm just being a dumb, but my game has no sound. The sound works on everything else and I have verified local game files/restarted computer.. Is anyone else running into this problem?

yeah. i have this issue too. everything has sound except the game. ive tried changing the settings on my computer to test different devices but nothing works.

i fixed mine. try restoring the files through steam. go to properties, then verify the files. this fixed it for me.

That didn't work for me but did manage to fix mine. For me, I had to run the game as an administrator one time and it did the trick!

I had the same problem. Tried everything and still nothing... I asked for a refund and got another game and guess what... no sound there too. But all my other games had sound. So I started checking my computer alienware 17 r4. There's a alienware sound center. I turned that off and I could hear sound again! Hope this helps if it does please let me know :)

For me it helps to start Steam.exe as an Admin.
