The three brothers - Snails tips?
Anyone got some tips for defeating the giant snail-like creatures you find in some caves of the Caldera? They got tons of life, they just defend against most range attack I throw at them, and if I get glose my life just starts dropping for no apparent reasons. (Must be an AOE effect, but I see no visual indication of one, and I get nothing on my status bar. They don't even hit me.. I just lose health 'till I die.)

I mean... I find myrmitaurs easy compared to these damn snails, and some dungeons are filled with them.

I know this region is designed to be harder, but I'm starting to hope for a straight up easy battle against, say, a wendigo or two. XD

The poison attack that most of them throw has 2 parts, they can blow up instantly upon touching you or go off after a certain amount of time. Combined with the additional fire that they give off behind them makes them a bit challenging. Fighting in melee causes them to change their fighting to be primarily fire based. In which they give off fire all around them to ward off potential enemies. Once they are brought to about 25% hp this is where things get different. Their are two types of snails from what I've seen. The chalcedony that drop nephrite gemstone and the red type that tend to drop rare gems. The chalcedony have the ability to spawn a bunch of green smoke that can cause plague, and the red type have ability to heal themselves. My suggestion is to fight them at range if your melee isn't all that good. Grenades really change how the game works and the elemental arrows provide a much needed buff to bows.

I get them close to the blue bugs, then fill them with arrows until they go down. Much easier to take out the beetle afterwards.

I just ignore them and walk past them.
You can use them to kill other enemies efficiently and they themselves pose no threat unless you want to boop the snoot of one too long.
