Help! Infinite Loading Screen issue stuck at loading characters...

I just bought the def ed on steam and I pass through the tutorial. I can't seem to get out of Cierzo. I tried going through the storage but it won't let me leave. Same goes for the main entrance as well.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? And also does anyone know know to report a bug to the devs?

could you try making a new game and skipping through all the intro and try to get at the same point to see if the problem persist?

are you sure you're actually stuck loading and not just ignoring the prompt to press a button when it's finished

Not at all. There is no prompt to press a button to proceed. Like I said, it is stuck at "loading characters." I left it like that for an hour before giving up. I play on razer ultrabook.

huh that computer SHOULD be good enough to play no problem, perhaps your install messed up somehow, verify files, if that doesn't work completely delete the game and all the folders it made and install it again

Do you think this problem has something to do with installing the game on an external drive? Because I already verified files and completely reinstalled the game.


Edit: I just finished reinstalling on the external drive again but this time it works without any issues. Thanks for caring my guy. Appreciate it.
