When to leave?
I'm on my fourth start, my last one was 22 days and it had gotten cold and I was getting beat up too often, but I had learned a bit from that play through. Now I'm on day 18, after getting a brutal spear early from the immaculate cave (which made surviving battles so much easier) I now have a brutal club and tower shield. Have completed the little quests around town, have acquired mana from the ley line, have blue sand armor and shoes, and around 300 silver plus a bunch of stuff I've collected.

Should I be heading out to the other areas or is there more things I should do in the present location? I keep debating with myself if I should head out or not. Is it likely I'll be returning often enough that I can leave the stuff I can't carry with me or sell it all? To that point, I won't need to carry my alchemist or cooking gear as they will be easy to get in the next sections, right? I can leave those in Cierzo?

you can leave and go more out than before whenever you feel like it. its the point of this game. going outward ^^ once winter begins its a good idea to leave the first area as the other 3 dont contain cold weather much compared.

i normally would save up like 1800s and clear out the first area, or at least close to that, and make more in another area where you wanna buy your skills, as getting a maxed out skill tree can change the game significantly if you are struggling, bring potions to the new area, id set up a camp in town with a cooking pot and alch kit since u cant buy the house till u join a faction and do some quests for them, also get some plant tents from the caravaner they help with food and water while sleeping are light and protect from hot weather. Berg is a nice place to start as it is in the middle of all the other areas, and going to the abassar desert to sell things is good cause everything is more expensive in the desert, but also sells for more, fill your bags with light valuable stuff and go there for money. but berg has the eziest enemies to deal with imo, all the other places are scary till u get to know them and have some skills and gear.
