I got a lot of my damage in by going back to Chersonese and murdering everything while re-looting everywhere, because all of the beginner enemies have weaker defenses, which means they take more damage per hit. You could also try seeking out enemies with elemental weaknesses depending on the imbue you use, and be sure to use the associated boon buff for even more damage. Of course, as above, I was able to inflict a lot more damage thanks to dagger skills. It may go quicker for you if you happen to have any offensive skills from the Wild Hunter or Warrior Monk skill trees. This is all pretty basic information, but I'm not sure what else to advise. Good luck!
