Adventurer Bundle worth it for returning players?
I clocked in around 40 hours before the two DLC released and I liked the co-op experience a lot.
Now the reviews for the DLCs are mostly mixed but would you guys recommend it at the current price?

if you liked the basegame youll like the dlcs aswell. but the three brothers city building is not very coop friendly imo. each player has to build thier own town to get some mileage outa them. advantage : you can coordinate which special buldings from the 9 you build and which ones your partner builds in thier city as you can only build 6 of the 9 to begin with in 1 players world and each also has 2 upgrades and you can only build 1 upgrade of the 2 aswell.
mainquest requires finishing your factionquestline to start. zone can be visited and explored at anytime tough.

soroboreans has no downsides for coop. but the main faction requires a new character to join or a character which hasnt joined one yet.

Creating a new character is no problem for me but the city building part sounds like too much of a hassle to even get started with.
Is the second DLC even worth buying if I don't want to deal with that?

yes. the city building aspect is only done during the mainstory of new dlc mainly. the rest of the dlc tough contains some neat stuff aswell and has nothing to do with it at large. like the new artifact weapons and some new armors etc. new enemies.

the city building is mainly done trough silver mostly. its less complicated than it sounds believe me.

however the rng aspect of the special materials needed for certain buildings can absolutly suck if youre unlucky. plus all mainquests for building the town are timed with 150 days each (sounds like alot but bulding certain buildings requires like 3 weeks of days to pass to finish building you can fast forward 7 days at npc tough) however failing the timers has not many consequences except the very last one. mainstory contains 2 new boss fights aswell.

you can check out the wiki for it. it shows how it works under building.

sidenote : while you can explore the rest of the dlc area freely there wont be a city aka safestorage place until you start the mainquest for it. then you gain a free stash tough.

you dont need a new character to play soroboreans. hope i made that clear. its only needed if you want to join the new mainfaction as that counts as one of 4 factions with the basegame and you can only join one. if you cannot join them anymore you wont be locked out of anything in the dlc area tough. so dont worry too hard about that.

Could you maybe give me your opinion on what stood out to you the most in the two expansions?
Something that was particularly fun for you or that really made the DLC special compared to the basegame? (except the basebuilding which sounds like a nightmare to me)

fun is subjective so i wont answer that one.

what made the dlc special.

for soroboreans for me its definitly the dungeons and the quest rust and vengeance which unlocks alot of the bigger ones. also enchanting for all items except backpacks (this process is tricky to figure out at first) enchanting was extended in 2nd dlc aswell with more recipes. small warning :
you can only enchant any item ONCE. you cannot undo that enchantment ever. would have to get the same item again in order to get different enchantment.
also hexmage and speedster skillthrees are dope. specially hexmage.

for the three brothers it was the artifacts and the city building that made it special. also the enemies there are alot stronger than the rest of the game aswell. game even warns you about this. also continues the storyline past your factionquest (regardless what faction you choose) also new combat skills and passives from the arena you can build.

More dungeons sounds great. I really liked the exploration aspect of the basegame.

About the first DLC:

What also made it special for me was that the storyline is completely different and has hardly anything to do with the story of the other 3 factions (which tell the same story from different perspectives)
Thanks for the insight.
I'm still not quite sure if should cash in on the DLC, so more opinions are welcome!
