both games at very high
I like it though.
And looking at Twitch streamers playing the game you can see how the game looks more washed out overall in the open world.
Looking further you can even see a missing tree on the DE screenshot on the top right.
Because honestly, the 2nd screenshot looks kinda like... someone would present me the game from Unity editing window.
It's cool to see more details on the ground, but the background...
Previous color palette masked imperfections much better and given overall, more pleasent vibe imo.
Regarding the draw distance I always found it rather bad.
In general you seem pretty dissatisfied?
Thanks for describing on point what I feel about the palette change, indeed looks unpolished and something from Unity editing window.
Pls devs, don't let this be the version that will represent Outward moving foward :(
edit:
Devs on Outward are a little team but they will not keep things lile this, i 100% sure it's just a litlle mistake with the engine or options, maybe a conflict between previous version of the game and DE because installed on a PC where the game was already before.

Again, your 2nd screenshot is much later in the day. The suns height and the shadows being cast tell as much.
if you are on the DE version, then it's interesting because mountain line don't have this aliasing that is in the 2nd Screenshot of Doomage
Thanks for clarify the stuff for us.
I mean, technically if someone doesn't how game "looks", can still inject some filter.
