Archer build and breakthroughs
I want to mainly focus on using bows and a 2h axe as back up and would like some input. I'd like to be able to defeat at least 3 post MQ bosses too. I'm going to use speedster since I haven't used it much before. I'll be using potions to bring alertness up since there's you can't use Probe with a bow..no bow bashing, unfortunately!

Main decision being Blitz or Anticipation. Not sure if I should use heavy armour and Blitz or Anticipation and light armour. The appeal of moving far quicker by combining light with Blitz might make end game bosses near impossible. I do still want my character to look like a hunter style archer.
The other breakthroughs I'm not so sure about. Is Wild Hunter's extreme bleeding still useful? Even if it is, do I have the quickslots to spare?
Mercenary will help with movement but I'll be missing out on the tier 3 skill completely.
I don't mind using some magic, especially nature themed ones from the Cabal Hermit. Same issue as above, tier 3 skill won't be used.
Rogue Engineer seems useless since I'm using a Boozy backpack and barely sneaking or using pressure plates.
Rune Sage doesn't fit although I do like that it can counter the negatives from Alertness, same goes for warrior monk except I won't have the quickslots to use the tier 3 skill.
Gear and items suggestions are also welcome. Elemental resistance potion being a given.

Semi-related: Is the speed of Probe dictated by the weapon? What is the Probe icon supposed to be?

Looks like you can avoid most attacks with speed. Didn't think it was possible. Maybe speed gear and Blitz can work.
