Question about Definitive Edition and DLC

I brought this game since it first released 5 years ago and looking to play it again with DLC and DE update. But I really confuse...

Right now I got the base game (Even its said DE in my library) So for what I understanding, I only need to buy The Three Brothers DLC right? With 3 bros DLC my base game will get update to DE and I don't need so buy The Soroboreans since it include in DE?

Or I need to buy both The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers to gain access to all new content?

Right click on the game. Got to Properties, then go to DLC tab. It will show you what if any DLC is on your game. For the full DE you need both the DLC's

I don't own any DLC yet, Look like I need both of the DLC for full DE like you said. Thank you :D

Its just so confuse to me since on the cover art in my steam library shown OUTWARD: Definitive Edition... Though I got a free update xD

Wrong, to upgrade your game to DE you only need to buy Three Brothers, no need to buy Soroboreans.

Just read the store page

Hm, I bought Definitive Edition, but only received Outward - DEFED DLC and Outward: The Three Brothers!?

Outward - The Soroboreans is still listed as Not Owned and I can and obviously need to buy it!

I really don't get this game, that's way I was hesitant to buy it for so long and will probably refund it still, as I just don't get it really!

So, if anyone can help me: What I do own now and what I don't own and what I need to buy and most importantly why, if I bought Definitive Edition!?

Launch from your Steam library, you'll get a prompt for classic or Definitive Edition.

DE has both DLCs included, ignore the fact you don't own Soroboreans. The only time you need to worry about owning Soroboreans is if you want to play classic Outward and have access to that content.

You don't need to buy Soroboreans, DEFED DLC contains all DLCs integrated, just launch the DE version and you will be playing with all DLCs, you only buy Soroboreans if you want to play old version of outward with all DLC.

no you don't need to buy soroboreans

definitive edition comes with the dlc all packed into it

that 3 brothers DLC is for old outward and so is the soroborean dlc in the shop
