Highlighted on the download page, it says 'New DLC for Outward has been added to your account and will be installed along with the game'.
Don't know what it is yet, but the purchase should include the content of The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers.
Mine shows I don't even own it. IDK why. I'm verifying files right now. May have to take it up with steam.
Checking available DLCs says The Three Brothers is 'In Library', but The Soroboreans can be purchased.
If you own Outward but not The Three Brothers, then you only need to by The Three Brothers DLC to upgrade to DE.
That being said, be aware that the desktop shortcut launches Oldward by default. You'll either want to launch via Steam directly or change the shortcut URL to steam://rungameid/1758860 to force to to launch DE.
But my library shows The Soroboreans is available content to purchase.
Right.. as I said. Definitive Edition INCLUDES both DLCs, but you will NOT get a copy of Soroboreans in your DLC listing. You only need to own The Three Brothers to get Definitive Edition.
The only reason you'd need/want to buy The Soroboreans is if you wanted to play it in Oldward and not DE.
Per the Steam store page for Outward:
SPECIAL OFFER:
If you own the original base game and The Three Brothers DLC on PC, you can redeem a free digital copy of Outward Definitive Edition.
ABOUT THIS GAME:
The Definitive Edition delivers the ultimate experience for Outward players.
Experience the overhauled and complete Outward experience in the Definitive Edition, which natively includes the content of The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers. Beside the new weapons, dungeons and unique mechanics, you can also expect quality of life improvements. Adventurers, now is your best chance to explore the world of Aurai!
it's there, that dlc is for the old version of outward not defed
Talk to one of the caravaneers (There should be one in Cierzo, the starting town). They offer to take you to Harmattan for something like 200 silver.
The caravan is there, thanks
I also submitted a report. As it is not in my library and shows I need to buy it.
You won't be getting anything. Outward Definitive Edition has the DLCS baked into the game itself. If you purchased Outward Definitive Edition you will get
Outward + Three Brothers DLC and
Outward Definitive Edition (Both DLC's baked into the game alerady)
Refer to my above post. If you own The Three Brothers DLC then you should also have the DEFED DLC in your game's DLC list. If you've just purchased the game then you WILL NOT have Soroboreans DLC. You only need to buy Soroboreans if you want to play through it in vanilla Outward.
If you DO NOT have The Three Brothers then you DO NOT have Definitive Edition. No need for a Steam report.
