TLDR - Yes, DE have Soroboreans, no need to buy.
just make sure to follow this Checklist, because a lot of players open the wrong version of the game. This checklist is mostly for people that try coop, but it still apply for people that is opening the wrong version.
The Steam Store page says I own the Definitive Edition. I can review DE. But I don't own it. I can't purchase it if I wanted to. And there's no great indicator saying I need to buy Three Brothers to get it.
Even if I do buy Three Brothers to get an upgrade to DE, I'd have to start the game over ... which I'm just not doing.
It say on the Store Page this
"If you own the original base game and The Three Brothers DLC on PC, you can redeem a free digital copy of Outward Definitive Edition."
And you can convert Classic Outward save to DE with this tool
