(Definitive Edition) Real NEW GAME PLUS?
is DE now has real new game plus? rather than the pointless Legacy chest with only 4 items inside?

what I mean real is you can transfer all items, or at least lots of items and also SKILLs and character build ... so you can fast track to enjoy other faction stories without the need of grinding and unneeded suffering again and again ...

- items
- weapons
- money
- skills
- magics
- passives
- houses

things that being reset is only the quests ... it start from the beginning ... but as soon as you can access your house, you can have all your items without the need to find the legacy chest ...

this is not hard for the devs ...

and also Recipes

You can do it anyway. Progress without a faction for some time, save your save somewhere else. Then play whatever faction you want and restart with that save if you want to.

you can have multiple saves with this game????

you cannot have houses without choosing any faction first ... although you can make temporary camp with unequiped bag as storage, but still I choose to have access to my stash

the answer is NO. and will stay NO.

youre simply not supposed to get all factionskills on 1 single character. part of the experience.

just make a new char. selfsplit yourself. drop yourself your old bag with everything you want inside. bam. done. now you have a huge headstart for your 2nd char. and all these items got earned legitly beforehand by you aswell.

why not? creating the perfect character is also part of the experience in an RPG game ...

just give us option, either you want to play a new game with all skills or not ... easy

outward is FINISHED. the DE was the last update for this game. so asking for new features like that NOW is a waste of time.

the perfect character cannot be made in alot of rpgs. some rpgs have consequences and choices. and outward is such an rpg.

It's a sorta chat I do in games when I don't want to grind and it only autosaves. In ds2 I did it so I didn't have to farm orbs to invade. Here I explore a lot, make a strong character, then copy paste my save in another folder. Now I can try all faction quests from a strong base.

how did you do it? I tried to copy the save game from \Steam\steamapps\common\Outward\SaveGames\ but no effect

oh ... and RECIPES too ...

you can recreated all of them with manual recipes ... so why do you need to recreated them one by one again if you have already knew them, let them be with us forever

Doubt it's ever going to be a thing at this point. There was a mod for it I think but I haven't seen it listed with other up to date mods.

You can always use the dev console on a NG though it won't be ideal for all your items but adding back equipment and skills would be easy.

It is the exact opposite of beign RP. If you can do everything and be everything, it can be fun but it is not RP.

In Outward, you are just a random adventurer, not even a hero (atleast in the base game). This is the role play you should focus on.

I am thinking about playing all of the story main quest ... but as one playthrough can take forever, I want at least I can keep most of my progress for the next playthrough for faster replayability ... so I can finished all of them fast enough before I get bored

You have already been given options. Filling a backpack and giving it to a new char after finishing a main quest through split screen sounds good

If you know what to do, it won't take too long. My new chars only take few hours toreach the end of the questline and getting all my stuff.
