getting debug to work with definitive edition

So, been trying to get debug mode to work for preparation for multiplayer to deal with the inevitable bugs(lost inventory and such) and it does not seem to be working, but the debug.txt in the outward data defed folder but it does not seem to enable it.

Did you follow Wiki reccomendation ?

The default file path on most computers would look like:

For Definitive Edition: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outward\Outward_Defed\Outward Definitive Edition_Data\debug.txt
For Vanilla: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Outward\Outward_Data\debug.txt


It worked for me.

Erei is right. It works the exact same way as the original. The directory is just slightly different since it needs to go into the data folder for Definitive Edition.

Now, you might notice a few quirks, which are either more bugs or changes. I learned for example, that it no longer works to increase your speed when you're overburdened.

Previously you could increase your movement speed enough to still move even with a overburdened backpack. Doesn't work no more, at least for me haha.
