Quicker would be to earn a Tribal Favor. That sounds more obscure, but players who explore the Cierzo storage and are not afraid of leaving it through its back entrance, will be surprised. And once you know about it, you can apply meta-gaming whenever you start a new game, of course.
The thing is, you DON'T want to do that ever.
Grabbing the tribal favor is always the better option, you can leave the town through the storage area, make sure to have a bandage and/or 2 linen cloth to make one and head outside, you can literally run your way through to the injured person and avoid all enemies spamming conversation and giving him a bandage then going back to town in the same day
you can buy your lighthouse back anyway
A few hours ingame time? So just a few minutes real world time? Did you sleep? Did you die? What does the date at the bottom left say when you open the map?
Like everyone else just said, there are a lot of ways to pay your debt.
-you can gather everything in town (hatchet, felling axe, pitchfork, food, junk piles, fish, Rissa's chest, storage area items, among other things I didn't mention here) and sell it for the sliver.
-you can head outside through the storage area door almost instantly, breaking the tattered clothes you get at the start into 3 linen cloth, then going to the beach to that injured person, craft a bandage with 2 linen cloth, help him then go back. Tribal favor way seems the quickest and less taxing on your silver.
-you can do the same as the first suggestion, just instead of selling everything and settling for that, you can talk to the lady wearing green clothes and take her quest to go to blister burrows. grabbing the mushroom shield + the giant's heart is a bonus silver, around maybe 70-85 total silver for this.
-you can also just say screw it and do all of the above but not paying the debts and instead selling everything, doing the lady's quest, and selling the tribal favor (goes for about 50ish silver). roughly this is the most silver you can get out of at the start, you can also be a petty bastard and ask Yzan to give you back your money around 25/30 silver if I remember correctly.
I guess the last option is only if you really don't care about the house storage chest/beds/kitchen and Yzan lol

EDIT:
----
Just so you don't think I'm talking nonsense, here's a fresh character album, got semi-lucky with Rissa's chest. it had a rich noble's hat, 2 rage potions, 1 life potion. All of which were sold with the garbage around town.
Got a little lucky with the hallowed out tree on the way home, too. with 2 stability potions and a trader garb.
This isn't my luckiest starting character though, you can apparently get more noble dress pieces which could sell for higher.
I also forgot to mug Yzan and sell the makeshift leather recipes. Learned everything else (Gaberry jam, Cierzo Ceviche).
which honestly wouldn't have made much of a difference, about 9 silver for makeshift leather recipes, and maybe 4 - 6 silver for the learned recipes above. Also, with mugging Yzan, which I think is around 25 silver? I forgot to mug him before handing the tribal favor lol
all in all, total would be somewhere around 288-290 silver, of course not counting the sell everything route.
that would mean 45 for tribal favor plus whatever Helen Turnbull gives you for getting the shield + selling her the giant's heart.
Easily above 350 silver total, whether you sell your tribal favor or not. You'd have some starter gear, a weapon from the trash you pick up, and that much silver to spend on skills / other essentials.
oops, forgot to post the photos:
