I question the thinking behind the decision if it was intended to be obtained through vendor resetting, and if it was intended to be obtained through natural gameplay... Outward's playerbase is so small and the appearance rate is so low that it's very realistic to assume this content might only be experienced by a few people.
Clearly it was meant to be a surprise convenience item rather then something your every one of 100 chars should have.
Not really an issue if you've already got a massive amount of capacity, true, but even more than that they're basically only found at the end of the game, where they're of very limited use because there's nothing more to do. If you find, them, that is, which is unlikely given their abysmal spawn rate.
And yeah, if you have to cheat to get it, then you've already lost. At what? Everything.
I don't use alchemy/cooking pot in the wild, wouldn't change that fact. Still, wow, 0.5%, I've seen MMORPG with better odd on their lootbox. And they are designed to scam you.
I agree. The new DLC is grindy and rng. Why are the rare ingredients not locked behind specific boss from the new dungeons ? Want a geode, run chalcedony mine for example.
Nah, better to have random node, giving random loot that may or may not be useful (most likely won't). Much better to run around with an empty bag, a marathon potion and full speed gear, mining the nodes every week, hoping for a random roll, than fighting a proper boss and feel like you earned something.
I like the DLC for the new quests (and the fact your faction is recognized) and enemies and stuff, but the rest is underwhelming. Most of the awoken weapons are straight up bad, or for a very unique build. Same goes for the new passives and skills. Even the faction buff are all over the place.
