How does aggro work when joining someone else's world?
Currently struggling to maintain aggro vs my friend. I swing into enemies several times with my weapon, with my friend just kiting, but I never seem to pull aggro off.

Randomly it seems, sometimes you can just bonk an enemy to death while it never stops chewing on your friend who never does anything.... while other times just getting close can seem to make them peel off and want you dead.... so I guess be ready to dodge.

Yea I have had enemies who are facing one direction just do a quick 180 and hit behind them with no warning whatsoever. I have noticed that spells seem to pull a lot of aggro for some reason, that and bows (anything ranged really). But that isn't a guarantee or anything and it might just be random chance that it seems that way for me.

100% bows seems to draw an insane amount of aggro.

Just like human players do then, I know I normally focus down any ranged enemies or healers before I go after the "Tank". I haven't played in CoOp on this game yet though so not entirely sure how it works for the AI, but it would make sense for the AI to prioritise Archers/Mages instead of the guy in full heavy armour + melee weapons.
I've also noticed that the pearlbirds (really not much threat to anyone) seem to have 2 types of AI, one where they run away after you hit them once or twice, and one where they're aggressive as heck and fight till they die or you die.
