Light Mender's Backpack

I cleared the spire, unlocked all the switches, touched the tablet.

Went outside and no ghost. I tried camping, no ghost, went back in and made sure I did indeed touch the tablet, yes I did, went back outside still nothing.

Anyone know if I missed a trigger?

The backpack and the Lexicon are not in the spire. In the spire there is a tablet you can grab, once you do and you leave, you will see a ghost, then need to find 4 or 5 more, the last one gives the backpack.

yes, that is what my thread explains. And that there was no ghost directly outside to initiate the quest..

Rip, I am blind apparently xD Not sure then, perhaps a bug. If you tried everything else all I can think of is going into your files and deleting a few recent autosaves and redo the spire.

you need to take ancient tablet first in spiral then when you going outside not from behind but front you will see a ghost and start the quest of Strange Apparitions, just finish it last night and got the backpack.

Yea, thats what I did. No ghost. And im on xbox so no way to revert saves. Oh well.

I actually cleared the spire, spoke to him, got him to give me resources.

Then realized the quest line for the backpack was there, found the other switches and opened it.

Does making him pay me tribute stop this quest?
