Will the DLC require a new game?

Playing with my brother at the moment and just wondering if we'll need to start a new game to play the DLC. And also, I'm guessing you won't be able to do anything for the new faction if you've already joined another one, like with the current factions?

you might want to check out the events and announcements tab on the right at the general discussions page. theres a few dev diaries about whats in the game and such. I havent had a chance to watch them but i figured id say something incase no one answers your question.

I asked this some days ago. People think we do not need a new game but I don't think the devs have confirmed this.

If they added new skills and a main quest I think a new character will be the best idea.

But people could already start to play the game to build their new character.

it wouldnt hurt to go ahead and get a toon ready just in case. maybe just lead it up to before it makes any major decisions.

You can play the DLC with an existing character, as long as you're not aligned with any faction.
