NG+? Questions! Co-Op as well

So I need two other faction quests and its been awhile since I played. How do I take my character into a NG+ and keep items/skills?

Also if I have a friend do remote play, how does he keep up as well?

There's no NG+ in Outward. The only thing you can do is put some items into Legacy Chests, then apply that Legacy to a new character and then when you find legacy chests you'll be able to take the items you put inside from your old char.

Could I technically move stuff to a second character then? You basically make a new character as well right..

You can also just make a new save, bring in your old character into that world via split-screen and pass along some gear to start with.

Yes, you can do what Midias said for gear, however skill wise it's not doable without using DEBUG (console) to manually add yourself skills.

Isn't it your chance to try something new with different breakthrough skills? The legacy chest system is also neat in that many items can be upgraded by sending it down with legacy.

That said, you could have the friend you're playing with host to run the next quest line, that way you both keep your progress and can move forwards.

That just leaves on quest line that you can either make new characters and builds for or use debug to create a character similar to your existing one and continue.

I just want to see the two remaining faction quests. To even use the chests you have to unlocked them on the new character anyways.

This is not entirely true, pass the Ceirzo storage key off to a friend or hand it over via splitscreen.
If you don't want to feel "cheesey" you can put it in one of the easier to access Legacy chests (in my experience the slide and gold lich are p easy).
Like everyone had said previously though, just use debug console to re-create the character you like for the next 2 storylines.
