Online coop stuck on Loading Items
Me and my brother just got the game today and we play online coop right away. However after playing the game for around 10 minutes if we got into a loading screen, it will stuck at Loading Items and we will be forced to restart the game. I've googled for this issue and it seems that this issue is prevalent around the game's release. Is it fixed or this issue is still on-going or is there any fixes or settings I'm missing? Because having to restart and rejoin his game every 10 minutes is getting quite annoying.

Same here.

Some say using the beta builds could help but since I can't get any mods to load thats not a solution for me.

yeah, I saw that too, but I'm not sure if the fixes from the beta is patched on the non-beta version though since most of the answers that mentions the beta are from last year.

Ya, Did you amass a large amount of items before it crashed?

It seems to be an issue regarding how items are synced across clients - but no one really appears to know

We horded a lot in the stash but clear that out massively. I wouldn't say we hord a lot anymore. We stick to under 20 items per stack.

Mmmh - AFAIK the issue lies somewhere when the game tries to sync items... There's an ExceptionLog.txt in the game directory that shows that the Coroutine (Unity's take on thread:ing) has failed/exited where it wasn't supposed to

It seems to fix the issue if you clear out the storage chest completely (we're talking less than 60 items total, not 60 unique stacks) it might fix it temporarily and allow you to sleep/load

We havn't had any issues when the host tried to enter the area alone, or sleep along... Only with other players

Yeah it's pretty hard to pin down - we've managed to get it to work by keeping all the items in our inventory, only to have it stop working 5 minutes later...

It MIGHT help to opt-in on the experimental branch (although this removes any mods and prevents them from being used) as i've heard that it addresses this, but i havn't tried it myself

Temporary solved by switching the host to me instead of my brother. No idea why though but I suspect it has something to do with the player loads area faster than the host.

The issue if you haven't put tons of items in stash is something that shouldn't happen.

If you don't use mods, it's probably better to switch to experimental branch anyways (as it improves performance and fixes quite a few bugs and has some QoL fixes, it should be soon to come live anyways).

However if you can trigger it to happen again can you send the logs to info@ninedotsstudio.com ?

any news to this topic? me and my mate are in the same boot... we story much on our house in berg or in cierzo and got it often... how we can avoid it?

Update to experimental, then load the game (it'll take a long time on first load), but after that it should be fine.
