Another split screen question...
My partner and I play together, on two separate computers in one room. We would each have our own copy of the game, generally this is considered local co-op.

Here are the questions: Is two machines playing in a LAN style considered local co-op for this game? Is split screen an option that can be turned OFF? We do NOT want tot play split screen. It might be a deal breaker if it forces us to play split screen.

I play tons of co op with my bf, there is a difference between LAN and local. Local is on the same console/pc while LAN is I believe basicly within the same internet connection.

I asked a similar question earlier about the split screen and someone told me there is no split screen unless ur local ofc

You can connect over the internet to anyone on your friend lists, the screen does not split when played like this. I don`t know what connectivity options the game has beyond friend list online or offline same game split screen. LAN would make sense personally but i don`t know

i haven't own the game so idk if this true, but what i understand is this,

local co-op = split screen in one monitor, one game, two controller/kbm

online co-op = two monitor, two game, fullscreen for each person

so i think LAN would work like online co-op

When a game has the "local co-op" tag on steam, that means on the same PC.

Steam has actually 2 diffrent tags. One is "Local Co-op" and one is "Split/shared screen" Tag.

I guess it doesn't always mean that, because I have multiple games in my library that have that tag that do not have split screen or same machine play options. In those cases it is referring to a LAN style play like we use at our house. Hence my confusion...
