In this age of shallow MP games where you "play alone together", a game that keeps to its guns and doesn't devolve into a boring MMO-dungeon speed run is something desperately need.
I for one hope the game is truly difficult and and thought-provoking in terms of engagement with the world, as "difficulty/souls-like" has become something of a buzz-word to indicate games that would have been considered pretty darn easy twenty years ago.

I'd settle for enemies being damage sponges or to hit harder to be able to play with more friends.
though I also respect the devs decision on this, just disapointed I have to choose who to play with
