Jade Quarry lever

I think I've wasted enough time and resources wandering around this god awful place. What the heck does this lever do?

The level is for a grated gate which contain a unique shield and an ornate chest. After pressing the level drop down off the wooden platform toward the lighted area. Follow the ledge down, then after the minecart take a right then take the drop off into the poison water. Walk straight then take the SECOND LEFT and then a final right by the broken arch like ruin and u should see tiles on the floor. If the grate is not open then press the lever again it was pointing toward the poison water in my game.

Is this the one with the 4-5 metal grate windows? If so, you need to put in different gemstones on the windows.

No this is in a cave at Hallowed Marsh that's filled with poisonous water.

idk if you found it yet, it is there. honestly been running around in rancid water for 30 min. not even 100% sure how i got to it. there is a place in the cave that is much larger in height. up on the ceiling you can see a hole where light shines in. if you can get up on the platform near that hole, there is a lever. running through water and fighting the satansaurs i finally found a dirt ramp that took me straight up there.
